Bug, The Tortoise by cermaith Bug, The Tortoise by cermaith
I dunno... I'm thinkin' about putting a little moss and some shelf mushrooms on her back. Yeah, I think it's a girl. She's named for her eyes, but at this point I'm not attached to that name - any suggestions for a better one?

She's half a small gourd (the inspiration), polymer clay, magic sculpt "guts" and plastron, glass eyes and acrylic paint.

- verry cuteicle - great work on the tortoiseshell-y colouring. Them claws look a bit lethal, wouldn't wanna get on her bad side...

Thanks. The claws were just meant to add realism, not nastiness! She's really small though, 3 inches long or so. Not much of a threat even with big sharp claws. :)

 :coffeemachine: I love her, Elisa! Although, I picture her being pretty zippy for a turtle, so maybe no moss or fungus would grow on this little one! How about "Pip" for a name? I love those colors too....she's a cutey!

Huh. Zippy, eh? Hmm... Maybe so! Hey that's not a bad name either. :)
I think she looks like a hatchling, what do you think?

There is actually something older in her face, though...maybe just a little girl who is kinda an Immortal Turtle spirit...
