Soda Can Dragon

Made of soda cans, cut up and assembled, then lightly sprayed over the body portion withe metallic gold. The eye is the color side of a red can with the silver pupil. Unfortunately the hot glue used to assemble it didn't grab the metal very well. I'm sorry about the poor quality of the picture, I tried cleaning it up a bit in photoshop but there was only so much I could do. When I made this (Around Christmas, 2004) I had just gotten our first camera and I had absolutely no experience taking photos.
I am trying to find a more permanent way to join these without solder, I think cans may be too thin to solder, and I don't have one.
